Mission: CAPA works to build a sense of community among Asian Pacific Americans to promote cooperation and understanding among Americans of Asian Pacific descent. We foster friendships among Asian Americans and others in the community to promote, represent, and advocate the interests of Asian Pacific American communities. CAPA provides a conducive environment for encouraging Asian Pacific Americans to utilize their history, culture and art to foster self-esteem and respect for their heritage principally through meaningful cultural events such as the Asian American Heritage Festival in May of each year.
