Programs: Among the programs maintained by the Coalition for the Homeless are: 1)administration of the Homeless Services Coordinating Council, a forum where local entities that service homeless individuals can get information, raise issues and network with others2)coordination of the Continuum of Care application process for HUD funding3)compilation of data for information and referral services4)management and support of the local Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), a system for the collection and reporting of homeless data as mandated by HUD5) administration of Houston Community Voice Mail, a program to provide voice mail services to homeless individuals.
