Mission: CMM Cares was built on the belief that by bringing the Long Island business community together, we can make a huge difference in the lives of our neighbors. Our mission is to take care of individuals and families facing unexpected challenges by providing life-changing solutions through fundraising efforts and support from our partners, sponsors, and donors. It is our goal to ease their hardships and bring some joy to the lives of Long Islanders, one family at a time.
Results: We strive to support our chosen nominees in any way that we can through goods and services, based on their unique situation. With the help of our sponsors and in-kind donors, we’ve been able to reconstruct the backyard of a home to better fit the needs of a disabled child, replace medical equipment and furniture for a family who lost everything to a house fire, facilitate meal delivery services for a veteran, and provide technology and essentials for children in need. The support level is tailored to the circumstances of the individual and we aim to provide items or services that continue to make an impact year over year, which makes us one of the most unique non-profits on Long Island.
All money donated to this charity is used for the families or organizations they help. The families they have chosen live locally. What better way to help our community!
What I love most about this organization is the money donated by our community stays within our community, helping those who need it most. Also, getting to hear from the families how the organization helped them, and their loved ones is so special. I'm happy to support CMM Cares and it's mission.
