Not only did the founder and her daughter, (who I might add made my daughter feel so much more comfortable) as they both taught us about all the different cloth products, how to care for and use them, they also set us up with the correct cups. Then they also sent us each a starter kit when my husband lost his job. I am forever grateful for the kindness and care that this nonprofit has shown us.
I applied for one of their kits that they provide for my first time using cloth pads and it’s been life changing! They sent me a wide variety like requested so I could figure out what worked best for me! Not only from a money standpoint was this a huge blessing but also a comfort standpoint during that time of the month! I won’t even go back to disposables ! Amazing people amazing product and amazing ministry!
Grateful to my friend Aisha Manus Mrs. Georgia 2020 for telling me about this charity and the great work they do. I trust her so if she says this is a great charity for a great cause it must be . Thank you Cloth Connection for helping so many in need
they have helped me get started on using cloth pads . I asked for the gently used package and when i got accepted i was over the moon. Sadly i could not afford for them to be mailed to me and they helped me find a sponsor that helped mail them to me. I love them so so much and they have helped me save money so i can but other things like food.
I donate as often as I can to this charity. They have such an amazing mission and I truly believe their work is so incredibly important. I am always happy to donate because I know my time and hard work are both very appreciated, not only by those running CCO, but also by the people who receive kits from them. Wish I was able to donate more.
I always LOVE the cloth pads I get and the makers selling what they put all their love into making. This group serves as a great resource for people who need and for people who want to support through their purchases.
All the volunteers put so much time to help! They communicate very well despite most of them being across the country from each other. I hope more people get involved because it’s made a HUGE difference.
Fantastic people doing great things! Very wonderful organization! Thank you for all you do!!
CCO has been fantastic! They helped me so much and quickly! I received two kits, one for me, and one for my daughter. They showed me what I liked and what I didn’t. They also hooked me up with their fantastic group which helped me build a much better stash for much less. Everyone is so kind! It was also awesome to participate in the Christmas swap.
I came across CCO when I was first getting into sewing cloth pads. It seemed very overwhelming and they were a great help. I went to one of their informational classes and was amazed by all I learned. I appreciated being able to see and feel the physical items, be it cloth pads of different fabrics or various cups. Once I started sewing my own pads, I was also impressed that they accepted used cloth pads that don't work for me. I've since sewn donations for CCO and point anyone in their direction who either wants to sew for a hobby or needs a menstrual kit. Excellent charity and helping so many!
Amazing charity. I loved how easy it was to apply & how fast I received my cloth pads & menstrual cup. Thank you for all you do. Without this charity I’d probably never of known how life changing these products are.
This is by far such a wonderful great program! They have helped me & my daughter & I love how if theres any questions or issues, they are there to help. I wouldn't be able to start this wonderful journey without they're help! Thanks so much!
I donate cloth pads and wet bags for CCO regularly and will continue to do so. CCO respects needs for those applying for kits and also puts so much thought into choosing the items for each kit. So glad there is a program to help minimize financial stress during menstruation, as well as providing chemical free products!
This charity really helped me during a tough time. I would recommend them to anyone who needs them.
After having my little I started having awful reactions to disposable pads, but getting a sufficiant stash together before my next cycle wasnt gonna happen with my budget. They sent me my cloth pad kit plus ingot a few from their budget group to start my cloth pad journey and honestly just started and was so excited to use everything they sent.
Not only did I get 6 pads, i got an wet bag, a wrapper, cloth wipes, some underwear and a hygiene wipe. Hoping for a nice cycle this month with no awful rash!
I received several beautiful reusable cloth pads and a liberating, life changing reusable menstrual cup from this amazing organization. Living far below the poverty line and raising my two children, I couldn’t afford to consistently buy sanitary products, and absolutely no means to invest in the quality and quantity of the items I received. They do wonderful work hat truly improves the quality of life for so many people.
For years I've struggled with bad cycles and after looking up cloth pads I was willing to try anything. The biggest obstacle to getting started of course was funding to ether get a set or the tools to make them. Thankfully I happened to come across a post in one of the Facebook groups about these things mentioning Cloth Connection Outreach. As far as I know they are the only charity for reusable menstrual products that helps those in the US. When I got that acceptance email I was so happy to the point of almost tearing up. The kit I got means so much to me. More independence and security knowing I won't have to worry about running out of pads.
The quality of the pads are just wonderful and since I started using them I feel that they really helped my quality of life. My dad is happy too since it's one less worry every month. He has been a huge help over the years. I have not had any more problems with sheets even when I'm at my heaviest. Before I could not sleep too long without risking a stain on my bed and that's with an overnight pad. Cloth is so much more comfortable and gentle on the skin as well. Cloth connection outreach made a big impact in my menstrual health and I recommend them to anyone who struggle with the same problem.
Three kids and a single income, I'm always looking on ways to not only lessen cost but also waste. I received a cup kit from this organization and love it. The facebook group is always there to answer any questions you have.
I have 2 kids and we have a single income, so we find every way we can to reduce expenses, and waste! I stumbled onto CCO and got a starter kit, as well as a make your own kit. I reccomend them to anyone interested in reusable menstrual products! She has great education and resources to start your journey! Also, the buy/sell/trade Facebook group has been beyond amazing, with a supportive community and product makers that make affordable options! I'm so grateful to have found CCO!
I have donated to this charity for over 3 years now and I know my pads, cups, wet bags and other items will be going to people in need! It makes me so happy to see the pictures of donations on their Instagram and the kits they send out to people! They are very open about how they help!
