It's been my pleasure to work and volunteer with The Climate Foundation over the past several years, dealing with areas including intellectual property, seaweed and hands-on efforts with marine permaculture prototypes. My background and knowledge in earth science and climate change was greatly enhanced by learning about marine ecosystems: kelp forests, restoring fisheries and sequestering carbon.
Most important of all, I learned that it is truly possible to reverse the effects of climate change in our lifetime through marine permaculture and other systems. Climate change is, by far, the greatest threat which humans face, a threat which is entirely human-created. We can mitigate this threat and must do so. The Climate Foundation shows the way and is demonstrating how to do it. I am honored to continue working with and supporting The Climate Foundation. I encourage others to inform themselves and work towards positive change for humans on earth.
