Causes: Arts & Culture, Performing Arts Centers
Mission: To strengthen the critical link between participation in cultural arts and successful, healthy children, adults and communities.
Programs: Classes:in 2017, ccac provided more than 70 daytime and after school educational opportunities for people of all ages in five arts and culture disciplines: visual art, performance art, wellness, language & culture, and creative writing.
events:in 2017, ccac presented four signature programmatic series, including wednesdays on the green, a free, outdoor, summer concert series for audiences of all ages, which was attended by over 3,600 people; second sunday family showtime, a series of family friendly, high quality performances by top cincinnati performing arts organizations; rockets to robots, a free stem+arts program offered to children and their families from three nearby cincinnati public schools; and sunset salons, a conversation series for adults on topics that have included design, authors, coffee, astronomy and other thought-provoking subjects.
exhibitions:ccac exhibited works of art from both emerging and established artists, as well as amateur community artists across all fine arts disciplines. These included our eighth year of the golden ticket art exhibit, which displayed over 50 pieces of fine art by artists from within 25 miles of the center.
