Mission: The organization's primary exempt purpose is to provide youths an educational experience by participating in livestock projects. The youths are involved in raising and caring for their individual animals, and participating in record keeping. They learn grooming, animal feeds and nutrition, and showmanship skills. The youths spend an average of four months raising the animals and preparing for the annual junior livestock show.

Programs: The organization conducts an annual junior livestock show which provides youths the opportunity to participate in livestock projects. The show promotes responsibility and other good character traits. The youths are involved in raising and caring for their individual animals, and participating in record keeping.
