Mission: The mission of the Clackamas Dog Foundation is to promote the health and well being of dogs and people through supporting the educational and public service activities and programs of Clackamas County Dog Services. PRIMARY FOCUS The Foundation is an independent tax-exempt organization dedicated to soliciting and receiving in-kind and private donations on behalf of Clackamas County Dog Services in support of its mission of encouraging the human/pet bond.
Results: Clackamas Dogs Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on supporting shelter dogs finding lasting homes, reducing unwanted litters through low-cost spay and neuter programs, and providing community outreach. Each day we have positive results when a dog is adopted into a new home, when owners gain skills to work with their dogs so they can successfully stay in the home, and when we work with local individuals and businesses to support the Center. Direct beneficiaries per year: 1100 dogs find their way home or to a new home, 50 youth received merit badges and ribbons in the animal category, 30 people were trained as volunteers, 245 seniors received AniMeals food for their dogs monthly, and numerous dogs were trained so they could successfully stay in their homes.
