Causes: Philanthropy, Voluntarism Promotion
Mission: Helping disabled and disadvantaged people.
Programs: Civitan youth seminar: 4. 5 day seminar sponsored jointly with the bannock civitan club and is held on the isu campus in pocatello, id. Seminar teaches leadership, self esteem, and life skills to 50-90 youth between the ages of 15 and 18 years old.
eitc scholorships: the eastern idaho technical college scholarships are given to 5 disadvantaged students to improve their skills and prepare them for the work force.
ymca renovations: renovations on the local ymca included painting and adding new carpet to two rooms.
other services to assist disabled and disadvantaged individuals include: adopt a family, bikes for kids, civitans at the helm, halloween party, shop with a cop, walk a mile, developmental workshop holiday dinner, guns and hoses event, and other activities.
