village building convergence (vbc) - this is an annual event where neighborhood groups in portland, or revitalize their own streets by creating a common vision for their communities, and building physical elements & structures using natural building materials in shared public spaces.
earth day: crp organizes an annual community celebration, promoting local businesses, culture & eco-friendly living to over 4,000 visitors. Performances, demonstrations & discussions help bring a vast variety of ecologically friendly ideas & techniques to the public.
