Mission: Our mission is sustainable land management and fire risk reduction through outreach, education, and implementation of goat grazing.
Results: For over ten years, City Grazing’s herd of 100+ adopted goats have worked with a wide range of Bay Area schools, community organizations, municipalities, residents, and businesses. Last year, City Grazing reached 225,000 people, adopted 10 new goats, and grazed 87 acres at 38 sites.

City Grazing and their herd do great work. It is so much fun to see them out on Mt. Sutro devouring invasive plants while bringing the charm of goats into the city, all while giving rescued goats a chance at a satisfying life. I like that the organization also prioritizes staff development and hiring from disadvantaged communities. Hurrah for work with multiple benefits!
