CISE is a central focus of my family's charitable giving strategy because of its focused mission to change outcomes for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. CISE-supported schools have a proven track record of success and a Catholic education provides other non-quantifiable benefits to these children. We intend to continue giving to CISE for the foreseeable future.

Catholic education made a positive difference in my life and that of my son. CISE makes this same opportunity a reality for children in inner-city Cincinnati. I have been a board member for several years and have seen the dedication and determination of the teachers, administrators, and staff at each of the CISE schools to prepare their students to succeed in high school and beyond. With help from CISE, these schools are making huge difference in the lives of the students and their families.

I received a scholarship from CISE to attend high school. This generous help lifted a financial burden off of my parents. I had a wonderful experience at my Catholic high school; one of my favorite memories was getting to attend the NCYC (National Catholic Youth Conference) in Indianapolis. My Catholic education was life-changing, and CISE is a big part of my story. It helped unlock a world of possibilities. I have interned in D.C. and Walt Disney World, and will soon be working as a social media and digital marketing manager. When you give to CISE, you are truly rewriting futures. From a CISE alum, thank you!

A dozen years ago, my husband and I toured a CISE supported school. I had to step out of the classroom for a moment, as I was overwhelmed with emotion. These children are grateful to be in school and eager to learn. CISE enables safe and happy environments where kids can focus. They get a great education from dedicated teachers, and values critical to success. I joined the board 10 years ago and we remain ardent supporters. The organization has seen growth over the last years, which translates to serving more children. CISE changes lives, families and the community.

I have been involved with CISE for almost a decade now. I've seen first hand the support the organization provides to their sponsor schools and the children in them. It is remarkable. The testimonials from some of the CISE school graduates are incredible and really put into perspective the experience, education and support the children are able to receive thanks to CISE scholarships. Recently CISE has put a focus on supporting mental health awareness and support in the schools. This kind of support is so important, now more than ever. CISE is a wonderful organization and worthy cause for your time, talent and treasure!

Many of our students come from families with limited resources beyond food, clothing, and shelter. Many others even need assistance to provide these necessities. CISE allows us to have a nurse on site, a mental health partner on site, an instructional coach for our teachers, and many other opportunities for our students and the staff that serves them. CISE continues its care of our students with scholarships and advocates as they go on to high school.

Partnering with Cise is one of the highlights of my role as Principal! Cise is able to ensure that our students have every chance at a successful future by investing in their education from day one. Cise funds many programs to ensure that our students’ needs are being met, whether that is through a school nurse or through support getting into a Catholic High School or one of many other services provided. Cise dollars impact every student from Preschool through 8th grade. Cise is an amazing organization!

I work for a school that is funded by CISE. My daughter also went to a CISE school. I have seen many great children come through our urban Catholic school and know the difference it has made in their life. Many of these children would be considered at risk because of their income, home situations and where they live. They received a better education in a smaller setting with love, compassion and faith. One student is in the seminary, one plays for the NFL, there are firefighters, police officers, a physical therapist, teachers, etc. My daughter grew up to be a Guardian ad litem. Because of CISE funding, these schools are able to stay open and change the outcome of children's lives.

CISE has been a wonderful partner for St. Cecilia School. Their generosity has helped to shape the culture at St. Cecilia to ensure that with a strong Catholic identity, rigor and high expectations are the norm for all students. The have positively impacted our students in ways that, alone, St. Cecilia could never have imagined. They have been a gift for our families in helping to make a Catholic Education accessible. Our students' futures are bright, and CISE plays a pivotal role in making them so. I can't thank them enough.

I am especially proud to be a nurse for a school that is funded by CISE. I work at St. Francis de Sales. CISE is the reason we nurses have a larger presence in these inner city schools because they pay for many of our hours. Knowing that less children will fall through the cracks healthwise is very satisfying to me. All of our students are caught up with their immunizations because we nurses keep calling the parents with reminders and helpful tips on where they can go for these services if they don't have a regular doctor. We also follow up on the vision and hearing screenings to the best of our ability. Both of these screenings are extremely important for proper learning if follow up care is needed. SFDS has a wonderful staff and faculty that always go the extra mile to help each individual student. We work together as a family and care about one another and our students. God is present in our school and it's wonderful that we are free to talk, teach, and learn more about Him. That is really why we are here. Today, I put a bandaid on a little girl's knee. I could not even see the scratch but she could. She really needed a little TLC and she got it. I like to think that we do that for all our students - that little bit extra!

This is the third year since I have been pastor at St. Francis de Sales. I am very proud of our elementary school because of the wonderful Principal and staff that minister here. Yes, I use the word minister, since our CISE program makes it that way because of their wonderful support, since without them we would have a very difficult time keeping our school open. I believe our school servers the greater Cincinnati area simply because our student come from all over with only a small number hail from the Parish area. Our influence is through education where our student are successful in attending other Catholic High Schools, Xavier, Moeller, St. Ursula, and especially Purcell-Marian. Thank you CISE for being supportive beyond your support for us financially. Our attendance has continued to rise not only because of our great program here at St. Francis de Sales Grade School but because we have a stronger future through CISE.

This year we almost doubled the number of students accepted into Parochial High Schools, through hard work and all the support throughout the year we received from CISE. To top it off, the scholarships CISE provided our 8th graders helped our families with initial enrollment costs. Thanks CISE!

I have been a nurse in CISE schools for 6 years and feel so blessed to be a part of the incredible team of educators in CISE schools. Most students are from low-income families who could never afford the support and services their children receive at CISE schools. CISE schools enable children to grow and compete in areas they otherwise would be disadvantaged.
Not only are basic living, academic, and social needs met, but children are encouraged to grow spiritually in their faith. CISE schools raise the bar for children who would not have the opportunities to be challenged and grow if elsewhere. Families are also positively influenced by interactions at school. CISE schools enrich the lives of students, families and all who work in them!

As one who has been a pastor now of two churches with CISE schools, I have nothing but praise for the support that these urban Catholic Schools provide. Children are our future. The children served by our urban Catholic Schools have so many hurdles in life. The quality of an education we can provide is an invaluable gift to their future, our future. CISE is simply the BEST!

I have been apart of CISE since 2014, starting as a volunteer and currently a board member since 2019. Through my time, I have seen first hand how CISE has delivered terrific returns on donor investments and I’m confident this great performance record will continue. 84 cents of every dollar goes to support our students and schools.

I have been a volunteer with CISE for nearly 20 years, and I can attest to the outstanding work that CISE does to provide outstanding educational opportunities for underserved students in Cincinnati. The work CISE does has a very real and positive impact on the students in the ten CISE schools. CISE is truly changing the outcome for these students.

I am so happy to teach in one of the schools that is served by CISE. CISE really opens many doors for our students and makes it possible for them to receive a Catholic education. As a teacher, CISE has also offered me the opportunity to network and collaborate with other inner-city educators to guarantee that our students are receiving the best education possible.
