Causes: Human Services, Residential Care & Adult Day Programs
Mission: Our mission is to champion the independence and well-being of aging adults and their care partners by providing comprehensive, personalized care for daily life.
Target demographics: aging adults and their caregivers
Geographic areas served: Richmond, VA, and surrounding counties
Programs: adult day programming Monday - Friday from 8 - 4 pm that includes a written individualized care plan, daily nursing (RN) care, social work services, emotional and cognitive support, a unique Montessori-based program for those with dementia, a multisensory environment, exercise programs to build strength, balance, flexibility training, rehab coordination including on-site occupational, physical, and speech therapies provided by an area home health agency, cognitive and physical games, arts and crafts, lunch and two snacks, help with personal care, support groups for participants and caregivers, educational seminars and counseling for caregivers, caregiver respite and coordination of transportation.
