I would not recommend getting involved with this organization! The CEO can not be trusted and is extremely unprofessional. She has lied to donors, community leaders, and board members about the organization’s finances and how many students have been served and a plethora of other things. The organization needs to be reviewed by the IRS and BBB, due to inaccurate reporting and poor treatment of its employees. If I could give this organization 0/5 stars I would.
The Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation has been an excellent partner for our organization. They have managed the scholarship process entirely, offering the flexibility we need to align with our mission. The team is also very helpful and responsive, which is especially important for our small organization.

As a retired teacher, I wanted to establish scholarships for students from the high school where I taught for many years. One of my former principals recommended the Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation as an aid to doing this. I’m glad I took his advice. CSF has done a good job in reaching out to students and keeping me well informed of how the process is going. All I have to do is write a check! Thanks, CSF

CSF has been such a blessing to me and my family. The generous donation allowed for me to complete both a bachelor’s degree and a masters degree from an extremely reputable college, Xavier university. I have gained so many more competencies, skills, and knowledge as a college graduate. This has given me better career opportunities and a competitive advantage. I’m forever grateful for the mission and work of CSF!

The Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation made my undergraduate and graduate education possible. From the beginning of my freshman year, Beth and Whitney made the scholarship process seamless, welcoming me with open arms and making me proud to be a Cincinnati native and attend and represent my local university.
I was excited to share my semesterly updates each year and am forever indebted to the gracious donors, board, and CSF team who invest in student success. Beth, thank you for all you do—your outreach and communications are so kind and your dedication to students is immeasurable.
Whitney—THANK YOU. Whitney has gone above and beyond to ensure I could graduate from two universities to focus on my future aspirations and not be weighed down by financial stressors. Her warmth, love, and commitment to all students make me proud to have been a CSF recipient.

Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation is one of the primary providers of scholarships for students at University of Cincinnati and have been absolutely phenomenal to work with. Not only do they have great connections with the university partners and the students they serve but are also great advocates for the community and stewards of community resources.

Our family has been working with Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation for a year. CSF administers two scholarships we have established to honor the legacy of our parents. CSF is professional, well organized, communicative, and respected in the communities it serves. Thank you CSF for all you do!

I established a scholarship several years ago with the Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation (CSF). It was quick to set up and it was easily tailored toward the selection of students that I wish to help go to college or trade school. I had CSF select an appropriate candidate for the scholarship and they do the work of administering the monies with the school/student. CSF shares the student's progress/status each semester with me. I'm impressed with the organization and the work CSF does to help further education for young people in Greater Cincinnati. They are continually looking for ways to grow the pool of scholarships and to find the most efficient/cost effective way to administer them. I'm very happy to have found this way to help young people. CSF makes a positive impact in our community. --David Beaudry

I was referred to Cincinnati Scholarship fund by a friend whose family had set up a memorial scholarship. I was able to meet directly with the President and CEO to setup my scholarship and the first student received funds, to help offset expenses in their college education, the following school year. I've received updates from the recipient after each semester and she continues to do well. The Scholarship Foundation has follow up with the student to track their progress and maintain a minimum GPA. I feel like the funds are being well allocated to deserving students and there is very good followup with the student to be sure they are doing well in their studies and extra curiculars to maintain the scholarship funding for future years.

I have been associated with and committed to the Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation for almost 40 years. I have marveled at how it has paired with schools and worked with students to bring them scholarship aid that has enabled tens of thousand of young men and women to enter and navigate college with its financial challenges to graduation.
Its administration of and care for its numerous grantee funds, including mine and my wife's has been uniformly excellent. It has maintained rewarding connections between individual students and the grantees. Year after year, they have build upon their success with new innovations.

As a longstanding member of the board for over 15 years, I've had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the incredible impact of the Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation (CSF) on our community. CSF has been a beacon of hope for countless students who have benefited from its unwavering commitment to eliminating financial barriers to higher education.
Through my tenure on the board, I've received countless heartfelt letters from students expressing their gratitude for the opportunity to pursue their dreams of attending college, thanks to the support provided by CSF. These personal stories serve as a testament to the life-changing impact of the scholarships and resources offered by the foundation.
CSF's dedication to facilitating and managing relationships with donors and scholarship providers ensures that deserving students have access to the financial assistance they need to thrive academically. By nurturing these connections, CSF continues to empower students and strengthen our community, shaping a brighter future for generations to come.

The scholarship department could use new blood. Ned Hertzenberg been there 29 years too long. His program administrator, Liz Collins should try not to be so rude, threatening, irritable, and condescending to scholarship recipients. As the face of this organization, this tag team duo is doing damage to the brand in the eyes of the community.
