Overall they have attitude that is "us against them". The staff is generally rude, and they have a war all the time over the conference rooms. ( I am very grateful this agency Was wonderful about 8 years ago when I need help... because with the current situation they wouldn't help me) They fired all the nice people, and hired unprofessional staff. Its really gone down the tubes with the new director who doesn't care about the Main Issue of Homelessness of Disabled persons in NYC.
As a matter of fact, the agency seems totally unconscious and unaware of the primary problems facing disabled persons, which is Affordable Housing and preventing homelessness in the post Guillani/Bloomberg era. The staff does NOT care. I have even witnessed newly hired staff being, disrespectful to other more experienced seasoned senior staff.
I find that HRA is more professional than the average CIDNY staff, which is more than sad.
