Causes: Children & Youth, Foster Care, Half-Way House (Short-Term Residential Care), Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: The heart of christ's home is to serve the lord by providing services to senior adults and disadvantaged children in an atmosphere graced with love, dignity, compassion and respect.
Programs: Children and youth services: to provide care and shelter for needy and neglected infants, children and teens by operating residential facilities. Christ's home served 105 children in the residential facilities in the past year. For this purpose, 76 volunteers donated 1,118 hours during the course of the year to benefit the children and youth services program. In addition, christ's home supported two international children's ministries by providing grants to these organizations. These international ministries served 265 children through christ's home's support.
to provide for senior adults, by operating a continuing care retirement community offering independent living, personal care and skilled nursing services. Christ's home served 739 seniors this past year. For this purpose, 45 volunteers donated 3,784 hours during the course of the year to benefit senior programs.
