Mission: Christopher’s Haven is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2021 we opened our second location in Atlanta Georgia. Today, the organization has two locations managing fourteen residential apartments and two community areas (The Loft) that offer a space for recreation, sharing and support for the families. In both locations, Boston Massachusetts and Atlanta Georgia families value the close proximity to the area medical centers, treasure the ability to be together in an apartment setting and value their time in the Loft bringing much needed support with other families facing similar circumstances.
Results: Over a 100 families have stayed at Christopher's Haven Atlanta
Target demographics: Christopher's Haven aims to make a tangible difference in the life of a child and his/her family being treated for cancer at the Emory Proton Therapy Center located in Atlanta Georgia by providing a comfortable, fully furnished and equipped apartment during the average 6-8 weeks of outpatient cancer treatment. Christopher's Haven offers a warm and supportive community for both kids and caregivers.
