Mission: Christopher House has been helping children and families for more than 100 years. Today, Christopher House’s family of schools serves low-income, at-risk children, and their families for success in school, the workplace, and life. We partner with parents to provide wraparound supportive services in addition to the rigorous college prep curriculum. We set high standards for our students, parents, and ourselves. Target demographics: We work with low-income children and their parents with high-quality education programs that prepare them for success in school, the workplace, and life.
Direct beneficiaries per year: nearly 5,000 low-income children and their families.
Geographic areas served: Chicago's North and West Sides - with locations in Uptown, Avondale, Logan Square, and Belmont Cragin.
Programs: Our Infant & Pre-school, Elementary School, After School, and Parent School all provide high-quality education and wraparound supports.
