Christmas wish is exactly how this non profits name is , they go above and beyond for all families in need , very respectful, caring, and always try to grant every Christmas wish for anyone who applies. My family is greatful for it's head coordinator Melissa and staff to make our Christmas wishes for our children come true. They speak the true magic of Christmas. Thank you Christmas wish for all that you all do to support our local community and taking time out of your day to bring hope and spirit back into our homes around the holidays.

Christmas Wishes are wonder amazing people who take time out of the day to help. Working day and night . They have put big smiles on mine and many other kids face. Taking the burden off mothers and fathers. Christmas Wishes is number 1❤️❤️❤️

A Christmas wish is a very good thing with people and kids who don’t have they help people out getting stuff with the kids and other stuff

Christmas Wishes is the biggest blessing at a time when it’s so hard for parents to get gifts for their children. I’m a single mom of a little boy and if it wasn’t for this program the past few years I don’t what I would have done. The staff and volunteers are just amazing and so kind.

Christmas wishes has been a complete Lifesaver for me and my three children, they are accommodating kind and loving Melissa herself is an amazing woman and so easy to talk to it's non-judgmental it's family oriented it's one of the best Helping Hands I've ever had me and my children are forever grateful

I had recently recieved full custody of my 8yr old godson and full guardianship of my 5yr old god-daughter. I live on a fixed income. My husband recently lost his job and it's been rough. We've lost our apartment due to black mold. With the help of this organization I should be able to give the little one a christmas.

they have helped me many times for christmas and for that i am forever greatful! their team of people have always been helpful and a pleasure to be around!

My child is autistic and I reached out to christmas wishes for help. When I seen my sons list was fulfilled I literally cried. All the workers at christmas wishes and the donor made my child's christmas. I'm so very thankful for christmas wishes and all the sponsors and donors.

This organization is the absolute best! All the years that I have applied my kids were extremely happy with what they got for Christmas. The founder, the donors, and the volunteers are amazing at what they are doing. If it wasn’t for this organization I wouldn’t know what I would do for my kids for Christmas so thank you to all that are involved you are highly appreciated!!

I have worked with Ulster County Christmas Wishes for the last 4 years. They have helped me provide for my children when medical problems just wouldn’t allow me too. They have always been upfront and forthcoming when it comes to the families in need. They go above and beyond for the community like no others. I can only hope and pray that my situation changes and that I can help other families just like ulster county Christmas wishes has done for me

My family first heard about Christmas Wishes Ulster County a number of years ago. We started by “adopting” a family for the Winter Holidays and purchasing presents. We were given a list of wishes that the children have asked for from Santa. My own children asked who I was buying presents for. When I told them they were for children in need, they went into their own piggy banks to help buy them gifts. It made my heart sing.
We soon heard that a team of volunteers meet to wrap the presents that are purchased. That year I volunteered to come for a two hour shift to help and couldn’t leave. The positive energy and holiday spirit was infectious. My older son came along and helped move presents so they would be ready for pick up. Towards the end of the wrapping season, pick up started. As I helped to wrap last minute donations, I watched as my son helped people load their cars with the presents bought for their family. The appreciation from those parents was overwhelming. Now I was truly hooked.
Ever since, I not only adopt families, but have helped the entire season. Both of my children help every minute that they can and my husband volunteers to pick up items when needed. We even participate all year round in events held to raise the funds to be able to make it all happen.
I will be forever thankful to Christmas Wishes. Not only does it give me a place to be a part of the process to help others less fortunate than I, but it has awakened something amazing in my children. The incredible people that volunteer have become a family and I truly enjoy being a part of that.
I highly recommend coming to experience the holiday season at Christmas Wishes, even if it is just to help wrap for an hour. Trust me when I tell you that once you meet the volunteers and experience the positivity, you will want to come all year round too!!!

I have been working with this charity for about 5 years. It is very professionally run by the wonderful Melissa. I have served as a donor and volunteer at numerous events. The best part is seeing the joy we spread to the community throughout the year but most especially at Christmas time.

Christmas Wishes is an organization I am proud and honored to be a part of. I began as a donor many years ago, have volunteered and am now a member on the board of directors. Bringing Christmas to families in need is an amazing feeling. Pure joy to see the expressions on people’s faces when they pick up their children’s gifts.

I joined Christmas Wishes years ago, first as a wrapper/donor and then came on board as a board member and then secretary for Christmas Wishes! This is one amazing group of people who put their heart and soul into making wishes and dreams come true for thousands of children each year at Christmas and other Holidays throughout the year! I am proud to serve our community!

I joined the Board of Directors for Christmas Wishes almost 6 years ago. It has been a blessing in so many ways, to so many people. We provide a Christmas for families in need but also special occasions when families need us the most. I feel incredibly blessed to be a part of this organization and am proud of what we give our community!

This is the best non profit organization I’ve ever had the privilege to been a part of! It’s a great way to give back to the community and help local children.

Simply put, Christmas Wishes feels like home. It is a small core family, with a large extended family whose top wish is to spread joy. My involvement with this organization started years ago “just” as a donor.. I say that so lightly because donors are exactly who make the mission possible. Without the donors, there would be no Christmas Wishes. A couple years after that I started volunteering as an Elf. This is when I got an inside look into this organization and from that point I was hooked. The amount of magic that truly existed within those wall was unmatched to anything I had ever seen before. Community coming together to help community. No judgement. Helping those in need. Busy Elves of all ages working to complete tasks of every multitude, but every job just as important as the next. After that, I realized I wanted to be a bigger part of the Christmas Wishes community and joined the Board. Christmas Wishes works beyond the holiday season. From raising money for a community member who lost everything in a fire, fundraising to provide necessities to a mother who just left an abusive relationship, supplying back packs to students in need, fun character events for local children AND BEYOND. There is no one quite like Melissa, who started this just to give back to one person. To see how far this organization has grown speaks volumes as to how special of a nonprofit Christmas Wishes really is!

We donate every year through Christmas Wishes and it’s the most rewarding and heart warming experience. They do wonderful work and are 100% volunteer run.

I’m a single mom of six wonderful children. I work full time and just make ends meet. It’s been a struggle. Christmas wishes has helped me put smiles on my Childrens faces with so many of their events and they make Christmas morning so magical for all of us. They go above and beyond and sometimes even a little further than that. I feel so blessed and grateful to have this organization in our community.

Hello my name is Christy single mom from Philippines. I have two children my eldest is 9y/o girl and youngest is 7y/o boy. Both kids is in spectrum of autism and it’s not easy to me since. I don’t have a family here and my kids father is violent he almost killed me and now he’s in prison. By the way My first experience here is overwhelming because I didn’t expected the gift I received from our sponsor is a lot with 5giftcard of different fast food and restaurant. That’s my first experience and the people work here is very kind and helpful. And our second time last year it’s not the same as our first time but it helps a lot for my kids that they have to open a different gift from Santa I am so grateful to Christmas wishes to do hard work to help the family like me who’s struggling to give our children wish come true every Christmas. The amount they do for the community each year is absolutely amazing! Weeks of non stop work to makes kids smile each year for Christmas is worth more then gold! I truly appreciate each and every thing they have done to help me more then I could ever explain!!

Christmas Wishes is the best non profit organjzation in our community for help during the holidays. Our story and experience with them is unique. We started as a family in need and became able to sponsor families after a few years. Every year since we began, I've been able to create memories with my own child by volunteering in the workshop with santa's elves to wrap all the presents and every year is magical. It's always very well organized and executed with the pick ups and deliveries. I'm really grateful for Christmas wishes because they not only help families in need but they help those who want to give back by giving them the opportunity to do so as a donor. I'm amazed at how much this organization has grown and the people involved are simply the best people around. They are friendly and loving and dedicated to the children of our community and I'm very proud to know them and be a part of this beautiful mission to help families in need at the most crucial time of year for the holidays.

I'm a grandmother who raised 3 grandchildren now down to 1.If it were not for Christmas wishes my grandchildren would not have a wonderful Christmas.I am on a very limited income and they have helped me and my family.We try to attend the found raiser to support them Christmas Wishes gone above and beyond to help make it easier on these families at Christmas and year round.They do so much more during the year.In Oct the elves are busy doing sign ups collecting,buying,wrapping,then the giveaway begins.This group deserves to be award the highest honor in my book.They are amazing and treat everyone as family.Thank you for all you do.

I got sick had to go on social security disability and didn't know what I was going to do for Christmas I reached out and they are amazing and helped with Christmas they help over a 1000 children every year they also help for back to school Easter , birthdays , thanksgiving just a few such an amazing and beautiful person who keeps the charity going

I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences with Christmas Wishes. The last time I got help my family went through something very tragic and when I messaged Melissa about needing help for Christmas she was absolutely amazing. She asked me a few things and I told her and she’s like ok don’t worry we got you. This is such an amazing thing she does for people in need and the donors as well are absolutely the best. She really tries her best to make sure all the kids wishes come true.

This group is “angels” made sure my family had a Christmas last year. Having the struggles we had and still have it was such a joy to know there are people out there that made us feel loved and special during the Christmas holiday. Much love and gratitude to them all!!!!

For about 5 years now Christmas wishes of ulster county helped me put a smile on my children’s faces. Although gifts are material things, giving them stuff that I couldn’t afford on my own made them happy. Melissa is an absolute angel. She goes above and beyond for all these kids in ulster county. I wish I could give her everything she wants for Christmas.

Christmas wishes Melissa and all the elves that volunteer their own time have gone above and beyond for my son. I’m always nervous about applying for my son who is on the spectrum and does not play with toys and things like his peers. Last year I asked for a swing for my son and he received it. It has been a DAILY blessing as it helps my son with his sensory needs. It was convenient and hangs right in my living room.

I am a volunteer and a donor! Most rewarding thing I have ever done! My entire family is part of Christmas Wishes, young and old.
