Rebuilding together is a wonderful organization. They installed a stairlift in my house for me. I am so grateful and I can never thank them enough. I have Parkinson’s Disease and was unable to use my stairs. They didn’t charge me a single penny. I found out later the cost of the stairlift was $13,000!!! Wow! There’s no way I could have afforded it. Without their help I’d be stuck upstairs and would have been unable to leave my house. Also my biggest fear was how could I get downstairs if there was a fire? Someone would have to carry me and could the firefighters get there in time to carry me down. Now with the stairlift I am able to leave my house and I feel much safer if there’s a fire. Thank you , thank you, thanking you from the bottom, top and even the sides of my heart for all the wonderful work you do to help so many needy people!
