I had the opportunity to visit Kenya to witness first hand David & Jennifer Haley’s ministry CMIA in June of 2012.
I went with a group of 16 people for about 17 days. This trip and experience was truly amazing.
I knew very little about Kenya or CMIA before I went. My Dad and Step Mom had been taking groups of people there for a few years previous before I ever went. I would strongly encourage anyone who has the opportunity to go and witness it in person. I can not believe what David and Jennifer have done there over the past 26 years. They have dedicated their lives to protecting, serving, and empowering the children, orphans, and the communities in which they come from. They are 100% the real deal! I have supported them and will continue to do so for as long as I am able. I came back to the States with a new outlook on things. I was shocked at how much CMIA is able to do with operating on so little in the big picture of things. They have inspired me to get more involved and use any and all unique talents that I may have from God to help and create ways to keep their organization going and to give it the "fuel" it needs to accomplish all they have set out to do!
I am blessed to have met them and I look forward to what the future has in store for them.

This ministry is wonderful! In 2012 I traveled to Kenya on a team with CMIA (Christian Ministries in Africa) and it was amazing to see the scope and impact of this ministry.

The children they serve are loved, nurtured and well cared and it's good to know that the money spent when sponsoring a child all goes to that child's daily needs and education.

Seeing the growth of a new orphanage and the impact it is having on children in an area of Kenya that has been ravaged by AIDS is proof that this organization loves God and loves people. Their outreach in the communities is evident and life changing.

David Hatley Ministries, aka Christian Ministries in Africa (CMIA) is a phenominal organization, providing a home, love, eduacation, and medical help for ~180 orphans in Kenya. They also serve the children in the slums of Kenya by providing meals each day, for most of these children it is the only meal they have that day. Every dollar given to sponsor one these children is used for the children.

I have traveled to Kenya 4 times on teams to work with CMIA and know these children personally. I know that the dollars I give are used for the children and that each of these children is loved, nutured, and educated. CMIA reaches out into community as well to help educate and with medical needs.

David and Jennifer Hatley have been in Kenya for 27 years and have built a great organization to serve the people of Kenya. Visit christianministriesin africa.org
