Mission: Choices for community living - delaware, inc provides individuals with developmental disabilities a full range of community and residential services. The organization has entered into a contract with the delaware department of health and social services, division of developmental disabilities services to operate community living residences and neighborhood group homes
Programs: Residential - provides assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities with acquisition, retention or improvements of self-help skills related to activities of daily living, such as personal grooming and cleanliness, bed-making and household chores, eating and the preparation of food, and the social and adaptive skills necessary to enable the individual to reside in a non-institutional setting.
day habilitation - provides assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities with acquisition, retention or improvement of self-help, socialization and adaptive skills. These services are delivered in a non-residential setting separate from the person's home/residence.
clinical services (nursing) provides medical oversight and documentation review of each individual's medication, medical appointments, medical status and updates, and any medical needs that need to be addressed. These services are provided in a residential setting, as well as at medical offices, hospitals and pharmacies.
