This place is a disgrace. The staff there do not help these families and they just don't care. The place is infested with roaches, miles, water bugs and other small insects. The childcare the teachers are rude especially this one teacher Ms. Cepeda, the main one. Not organize, too strict and the clients there are not happy. It's like 6 staff memberso who really helps others.

HELLO MY NAME IS MONIQUE MY FAMILY AND I CAME INTO THE SHELTER IN 2012. MY FAMILY CONSISTED OF 5. I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR THE HELP THAT THIS ORGANIZATION HAS GIVEN MY FAMILY. THERE ARE WORKERS THERE THAT TRULY CARE. THEY DIDNT SEE US AS A NUMBER THEY SAW A FAMILY WHO HAVE MENTAL ISSUES AND MADE US FEEL SAFE. MY FAMILY RAN ACROSS A PROBLEM WE WERE BEING TOLD THAT IT WOULD BE HARD TO FIND HOUSING WITH A FAMILY SO LARGE. I HAD TO MAKE THE HARDEST DECEISION IN MY LIFE. MY TWO OLDEST LEFT WITH THERE CHILDREN THINKING IT WOULD BE EASIER FOR EVERYONE TO FINE PERMANENT HOUSING. NOW IT IS JUST ME AND MY SON AND THEY ARE ASKING ME TO LEAVE TO ANOTHER SHELTER. I ASKED IF THEY COULD PLACE MY SON AND IN A ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT I WAS TOLD NO. I WAS TOLD THEY DO NOT FAMLIES THAT CONSIST OF ONE ADULT AND ONE CHILD. I AM MENTALLY DRAINED AND HURT. I HAVE LOST MOST OF MY FAMILY NOW I AM BEING ASKED TO GIVE ALOT MORE. THANK FOR GIVING ME THE CHANCE TO HAVE MY VOICE HEARD
