Mission: The Children's Museum of Winston-Salem (CMWS) was organized and incorporated on February 23, 2000 as a non-profit organization to form and operate an interactive children's museum serving children and families in the greater Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, North Carolina area. Its mission is to offer "our diverse community a compelling destination for children and families to learn together through stimulating, hands-on experiences focusing on children's literature, storytelling and the arts."
