The Attic encourages visitors to test their own realities by challenging their senses and perceptions of the world around them. The Garage/Workshop allows children to explore mechanical processes and build with wood, paper and crazy recycled materials. Waterplay encourages visitors get wet with water activities. The Nursery is specially designed for the Children’s Museum’s youngest visitors and their caregivers, offering physically engaging activities. In the Theater, performers, guest artists, storytellers, puppeteers and others entertain and engage all. The Backyard is an urban space featuring rolling hills, a variety of gardens, historical artifacts from the Museum’s courtyard, a fountain feature, bubbling mud, a worm bin and a musical swing set.
