Our son has battled cancer most of his life. He has experienced a total of 4 relapses (5 occurrences) over 10 years. CLRA has been there by our side, mitigating the difficulty of this battle. We are so thankful for CLRA and can't imagine facing this without them.

I will never be able to show how grateful I am to these beautiful people. They helped pull me out of a very deep well of medical debt. More than that, they embraced my daughter when I turned critical and didn’t let go of her as I was stabilized.

I believe angels walk on Earth disguised as every day people to teach us life lessons in selflessness. They are part of this non profit—particularly Kerrin and Tara.

Sincerely,
Martin R. Hitscher

As a board member of the Children's Leukemia Research Association (CLRA), I’ve seen firsthand the remarkable support they provide to families and children battling blood cancers. As a parent of a son who fought leukemia for three years, I can personally attest to how vital organizations like CLRA are during these difficult times. Their dedicated staff goes above and beyond, offering both financial assistance and emotional support to families in need.

In addition to helping families, CLRA also provides crucial funding to doctors and hospitals conducting cutting-edge research to discover new and improved treatments. We would not have made it through without the invaluable support from CLRA, and I’m proud to be part of an organization that makes such a lasting impact.

It is my privilege to serve on the CLRA board. As a former Executive Director of this organization, I can say without question CLRA absolutely goes the extra mile in meeting its 2-prong objective: patient aid and research funding. We are a small organization with an extraordinary and dedicated Executive Director and staff members. We pride ourselves in the personalized service offered to patients of all ages. Additionally, we have developed significant relationships with the scientific research CLRA grant recipients and take great pride in knowing we contribute to those professionals devoted to finding better treatments and one day a cure! Knowing I am a part of this mission, even in a small way, is incredibly rewarding! Find us on FB and our website, www.childrensleukemia.org. LEAEN MORE ABOUT US AND THE UNIQUE WORK WE DO! Being diagnosed with Leukemia was a very tough time for my family and I. Its a time of constant change where life is turned upside down and ones left with pieces of a chaotic puzzle. However, during this challenging time CLRA was there to help when the time came to try and put the pieces back together. There are various bills that stems from tests, treatments and procedures when trying to manage Leukemia. Thankfully, these bills were less of a burden thanks to CLRA. Because of CLRA my family and I knew we were not alone in this fight. And for that I am truly grateful.
