Mission: CHAP brings the healing power of art to children and families facing medical challenges. Each week, CHAP teaching artists and volunteers work in a partnership with local hospitals to bring joyful, creative art-making into medical waiting rooms, playrooms, and hospital bedsides. At CHAP, children are known for their creativity and ingenuity — not by their disease, diagnosis or disability. CHAP's innovative healing arts programs reach critically ill, chronically ill and disabled children (and their loved ones) with programs that strengthen, encourage, and inspire.
