Mission: Children's futures ("cf") aims to improve child health & development outcomes for children throughout mercer county in nj. Cf leads a collaboration of public and private agencies working to strengthen parenting, enhance access to health insurance, medical care and quality child care, and increase school readiness.
Programs: In 2016 childrens futures programs provided case management, parenting education, home visitation and outreach services to over 4,124 women, children and families. Case management was provided to 3,951 unduplicated participants at the centers which included pregnancy testing, parenting education, child development education and assistance in securing insurance, assist with obtaining a medical home, child immunizations and wic nutritional services. The bavolek nurturing parenting education program was provided to 174 parents to increase their skills in discipline, guidance and reading to children. Home visitation using the nurse family partnership program was provided to 158 first time mothers and 113 children. All mothers received prenatal care and education, depression screening and parenting education. The coordinator of community relations and the community health workers provided 310 outreach and community education and information to 4,126 individuals.

I am very intersted in your nonprofit organization Childrens Futures, Inc. I live in Hunterdon County and have been volunteering in the community for 7 years, helping children at Hunterdon Medical Center....collecting magazines and comic books, coloring books.
