Causes: Cancer
Mission: The Children's Cancer Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing children who have cancer or chronic blood disorders and their families with the educational, emotional, and financial assistance necessary to cope with their life-threatening illnesses.
Geographic areas served: Tampa - St. Petersburg - Clearwater, FL
Programs: Through the 24 programs and services offered at the children's cancer center, we provide financial, educational and emotional support to families of children battling cancer and chronic blood disorders in the tampa bay area. All programs are free of cost to the families.
community relations works with the medical and psychological staff in community hospitals to create a supportive environment for pediatric hematology / oncology patients and their families. Through this program, a representative meets with newly diagnosed patients and their families to introduce them to the services available at the center.
