Mission: Childhaven provides therapeutic care for trauma-affected babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Our early learning, early intervention, and mental health programs support positive outcomes for the most vulnerable children and families in our community.
Programs: Therapeutic child care: in three locations across king county, our childhood trauma treatment and parenting skills programs intervene during the most critical period of a child's development, under five years of age. Children receive the therapy, social interaction, and emotional support they need to become successful learners and build lifelong positive relationships. Parents and caregivers also receive the practical training and encouragement they need to become nurturing and functional families.
