Mission: Child Quest believes education is an essential element in keeping our youth safe. Providing awareness and safety education to children, teens, pre-teens, and parents is the foundation for our goal to stop child victimization. Beyond that, we are here to assist law enforcement and searching families in location and recovery efforts in the horrific event that a child does go missing.
Programs: Child Quest?s Our Kids Are Safe Kids program uses specific teaching components, depending on the audience age and awareness, to offer a comprehensive educational curriculum that prepares families to understand the dangerous situations that may arise and provides tips and tools to keep children safe ? in the home, online, and while out and about.Child Quest staff and volunteers provide child fingerprinting and distribute Internet and personal safety literature for companies, civic and nonprofit groups, profession and faith-based organizations, community events, schools and parent groups.Case managers assist families and law enforcement in the location of missing children on a local, regional, state, national, and international level. We also assist law enforcement in the search and recovery efforts of missing adults in the San Francisco Bay area. Child Quest has a 24-hour toll-free hotline for emergencies and sightings (888-818-HOPE).
