Denver CASA is an excellent, high-impact nonprofit organization that serves children and youth who have experienced abuse or neglect in Denver Juvenile Court. Their mission is clear, concise, and it's centered around training a diverse group of volunteers who serve these children and youth. I would highly recommend their services to friends and family in need of a CASA!

CASA staff is excellent. They are willing to be out in the community, looking for volunteers to further the organization's mission. They did a special virtual presentation to an affinity group at my office and they were able to find two volunteers! Don't be afraid to ask them to do a presentation for you and your friends or coworkers.

I have been a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) with Denver CASA since October 2020, and my experience has been nothing short of transformative. This organization is deeply committed to advocating for the best interests of children in the child welfare and foster care system, and the impact they have on these young lives is profound.

As a CASA volunteer, I have witnessed firsthand the dedication and compassion that Denver CASA staff and volunteers bring to their work. The training and support provided by the organization are exceptional, equipping us with the necessary skills to effectively advocate for children in need. The staff is always available to provide guidance and support, ensuring that we are well-prepared to handle any challenges that arise.

In addition to my role as a CASA volunteer, I am also involved with Denver CASA as a donor and advisor. I have been continually impressed by the organization's transparency, integrity, and commitment to its mission. The leadership team is innovative and constantly seeking ways to improve and expand their services to better support the children and families they serve.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my involvement with Denver CASA is seeing the positive outcomes achieved for the children. Whether it's helping a child find a permanent, loving home or providing them with the resources and support they need to thrive, the work done by Denver CASA truly changes lives.

I highly recommend Denver CASA to anyone looking to make a meaningful impact in the community. Whether you choose to volunteer, donate, or simply spread the word about this incredible organization, you will be contributing to a cause that is making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

The advocacy that Denver CASA volunteers perform for children in Dependency and Neglect court is absolutely vital to truly understand the needs of the child. Denver CASA's advocate supervisors and other staff work tirelessly to establish a high standard of care so that these children receive the very best support they can get inside and outside of the courtroom. Their training is top-notch and program support is unmatched.

Amazing commitment to helping children through Court appointed advocacy. Volunteers receive cutting edge training to make an impact in a child's life who is in the system due to neglect and/or abuse. The Older Youth Program is new and is thriving as well.

As the CEO of Colorado CASA, the association of all 18 CASA locations in the state, Child Advocates - Denver CASA stands among the strong.

With steadfast and conscientious leadership from their Executive Director, Karen Silverman, Denver CASA has led many statewide efforts and was a trailblazer in our DEIAB efforts within their local program.

The entire staff shows endless commitment and support to the advocates. Many of the local program advocates are my personal friends, and they rave about the staff at Denver CASA.

Well done, Denver CASA staff, board, and hundreds of CASA volunteers who serve children and families in Denver County. Congratulations on another year helping "Change a Child's Story."

Denver CASA volunteers are highly trained individuals who provide support and a voice to children and youth who have experience abuse or neglect while they are in the foster care system. They go above and beyond to ensure that each child has at least one consistent caring adult they can trust. Many volunteers ensure that children are able to stay connected to siblings that they have been separated from in addition to ensuring that they are getting the care they need.

One CASA volunteer with one child or family can offer the in- depth service and advocacy so crucial to serving the best interest of the child. Social workers and attorneys have Large caseloads so the 1-1 relationship developed between CASA and child with regular visiting at out of home placements can provide the court with valuable information regarding the most appropriate long term home to meet the child’s needs.

As a long time volunteer with Denver CASA (over 15 years), I marvel at the impactful work the organization does for kids in foster care. Through Denver CASA, I've been involved with four court cases representing a total of 8 foster care children. Each child was unique and special in their own way. I continue to remember my connections and time with them. I still visit and talk to one of the youth I advocated for a few years ago. I know from those interactions that he continues to appreciate having another caring adult in his life. I'm proud of what Denver CASA does for vulnerable children and the outcomes it achieves for them.

Child Advocates - Denver CASA is a remarkable organization training, supporting, and engaging volunteers to do important work with children and youth in Denver. These children and youth are part of abuse and neglect cases (in most cases) and need the support and positive adults who will speak up for them in school, with health care, in court, etc. The CASA organization has an amazing staff full of compassion people and the goal to improve the lives of children they support. I have engaged with staff for several years and can say they are all forward thinking, dedicated, and fun. Difference Makers!
