The foundation also helps grow the game of golf by providing a home at midwest golf house for golf organizations to further support their charitable initiatives throughout the chicago district. Programs: The cdga foundation fosters relationships and partnerships with surrounding area organizations to fulfill our charitable purpose of providing joy through golf. Our veterans program focuses on providing both instructional and playing opportunities for military veterans. This includes a unique program that utilizes the game of golf and its physical aspects as part of a supervised rehabilitation program for wounded veterans.

the sunshine through golf camp program uses the attributes of the game of golf to enhance the lives of those with special needs. With the assistance of special recreation associations, local courses, and pga professionals, the program served more than 1200 individuals through nearly 100 camps. Annually, this equates to more than 300 hours of training and on-course activity for special needs athletes. The home of the camp program is the midwest golf house with its' fully handicap accessible three-hole sunshine course and clubhouse which is located in the midwest golf house. Several other golf related organizations are based at midwest golf house and utilize the facilities for their administrative offices and programs.
