I, Tonya was illegally removed from my home. I have the medical records, and I have the 13 plus attemps for seeking help from Cherokee Violence Center. Never helped. I am physically impaired from the family issues. Putting a victim in jail is not protecting them, it's a federal crime. But that's the retaliation for a victim. I received physical abuse and I share my forehead. I also have financial abuse, and do you know that Cherokee County Georgia Sheriff Office staff member removed the Cherokee Sheriff Office reports 20-60145. That is the community of accepting abuse. Then they denied me shelter, but they never paid for the house, but it never applied to my late husband Chris Moss. They screamed about one being my Power of Attorney, not until 3 plus years after they fraudulently changed our property deed. The State of Georgia Task Force filed with Cherokee County Georgia Sheriff Office, and still nothing done, so they are trying to evaluate if those who have blocked me from court are the ones who have attempted to cover up our daughter being in the wrong school district and The State of Georgia is going after them financially very soon.

As a lifelong Cherokee County (GA) resident and former CFVC board member, I'm honored to be a supporter of the Cherokee Family Violence Coalition (CFVC). Their mission to end domestic violence resonates deeply with me, as I've seen first-hand the trauma it inflicts.

Their hard work not only helps with immediate need (emergency shelter, crisis hotline) but also helps victims of the trauma of family violence rebuild their lives after trauma.

I especially appreciate CFVC's focus on prevention - they offer training to help law enforcement, educators and healthcare workers better assist victims.

As a donor, I'm also impressed by their transparency. They keep the public informed, and provide an annual report so we know where our donations go. It can be shocking to see how much need we have in our community, which is another reason to be grateful for CFVC.

CFVC demonstrates that progress is possible, even on issues that seem insurmountable. I highly recommend supporting them.
