CHCRS goes above and beyond to provide valuable and professional services to the outdoor community. There are few rescue services that can perform the types of rescues this organization can do, especially when it comes to remote cave and wilderness rescues.

This organization has saved countless lives. They respond anywhere in US when requested. All you have to do is google “cave rescue” to understand the contribution of this squad to communities and individuals in need, far and wide. The person who posted that negative review clearly must be a former member who could not achieve the professional standards of this organization.

This is a very poorly managed non-profit, they claim to perform services they don't provide such as extrication and search and rescue. They have burned all their bridges with all the other fire, rescue, police, sheriff, ems in the county and are the least favored and most will go out of their way to avoid calling them for mutual aid. They have become a cave rescue squad and cater to cavers, All the other services they provide have been duplicated by other departments that provide a more reliable and timely response and out perform CHCRS by a longshot. CHCRS is a support agency and can not deploy without the request of the fire department of the district they are called to. They have misrepresented themselves many times in the service they claim to provide in their fund raising efforts.
