I am a former Board Member and long time season subscriber to Chatham Baroque. Their programs for children are unique and fill an important niche in developing new audiences and enhancing the cultural landscape for the very young. Their series concerts are awe inspiring and thought provoking. I especially like that every dollar contributed to Chatham Baroque goes a long way, they do amazing things with a small budget.

Mission: Chatham baroque performs lively interpretations of music from the 17th and 18th centuries, played on copies of instruments from that period.
Programs: Pittsburgh concert series. Chatham baroque presents five unique programs, three times each, at a variety of venues for audiences in the pittsburgh region. The artistically nimble trio of artistic directors/musicians: andrew fouts (baroque violin), patricia halverson (viola da gamba), and scott pauley (theorbo, lute, baroque guitar) invites acclaimed guest artists to perform with them, allowing for a repertoire ranging from well-known masterpieces to obscure gems. Programs are often recorded and broadcast to the public radio and form the basis for upcoming tours.

The demand for chatham baroque's distinct brand of artistic excellence and expertise continues to grow, offering a unique resource for other organizations in the pittsburgh region. In fy17, chatham baroque collaborated and performed with pittsburgh opera, pittsburgh festival opera, and pittsburgh camerata and provided musical programs for several area churches and community centers.
