Mission: Charlotte works serves job-seekers and businesses by providing resources to develop a skilled workforce that meets employer needs. The organization offers job-search workshops, individual coaching, networking opportunities, and training programs to job-seekers. For employees, charlotte works provides customized recruiting assistance, labor market information, training grants, and access to and assistance with statewide database of candidates. The mission is to drive the development of a globally competitive workforce for charlotte's employers.
Programs: Workforce investment act grant cfda 17. 259 - youth -charlotte works convenes youth-serving organizations to provide education and training opportunities that help youth and young adults hit the ground running in high demand careers. -services provided to youth ages 16 -24 include (but are not limited to) career advising, mentoring, occupational skills training, paid and unpaid work experiences and supportive services. -a former pre-apprenticeship participant was hired by cats. This relationship began from charlotte works' collaboration with cats and the city's mayor's youth employment program.

Services offered are individual coaching, job-search workshops, networking opportunities and training programs to job seekers. Services for employers include customized recruiting assistance, labor market information, training grants and access to and assistance with a statewide database of candidates. -we placed 7,065 adult and dislocated workers into employment, with salaries totaling more than 103 million.

Provided over 500 local dislocated workers with resources and guidance as they transitioned out of their current jobs.
