I am a teaching artist at Behailu Academy in Charlotte, NC. When we needed to find a way to put together our upcycled holiday tree in December 2013, Sheri from Charlotte Community ToolBank guided us through tool selection and helped educate our students about power tool use. The ToolBank offers an amazing service to all of the non-profits, schools, and religious organizations in our area. Behailu Academy is grateful the ToolBank is here! Thank you!

The Carolina Thread Trail utilizes Tool Bank Charlotte often to support our many volunteer trail workdays and special events throughout the year. Sheri and Angela are fantastic to work with! The rental process is easy and efficient. The tools are always in great shape when we receive them. We are lucky to have this type of resource to support our efforts and mission in the community!

I have to say I love the ToolBank! I work for the Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill SC and have used tools from the ToolBank for several projects over the past couple of years. The tools are always in great shape, the staff of the ToolBank (hey Sherri!) are always helpful and really know their stuff. When you place an order, they will recommend changes or other tools they think you might need or have forgotten, which is really helpful. The different types of tools they provide is just outstanding. We've utilized everything from trail work tools, garden/mulch tools and even some power tools for our latest Girl Scout Gold Award project. Thank you Charlotte ToolBank! Y'all ROCK!

Behailu Academy has worked with the ToolBank on several occasions. It has been an awesome experience each time! Last winter, Plaza Midwood Merchants ask Behailu Academy students to create an art tree for their annual event, Holiday Central. Sheri Osborne from the ToolBank was phenomenal! She hooked us up with all the tools we needed to build the large, wooden base to hold the eight foot tree made from hundreds of recycled water bottles and Crepe Myrtle branches by our students and their teaching artist, Ladianne Mandel. Sheri also volunteered her time and skills teaching our students how to use the power tools to bring their vision to life. The ToolBank has provided resources for us to do projects and serve our community. Behailu Academy loves the ToolBank!!!!
