I love the work that Charity Vision does around the world. I’ve attended school screenings in Peru and Tanzania and have witnessed teenagers and teachers receiving glasses for the first time.

It is amazing that for less than $25 you can help purchase a cataract kit for doctors to perform surgery and help a person receive their sight. I have watched a woman hug my wife after years of being blind.

Charity Visions focus on building up programs and clinics locally is more likely to remain sustainable and successful. What a beautiful work!!!

We had the wonderful opportunity to travel with this group and see their goodness in action. We met with school children and gave them eye exams and saw the delivery of rx glasses to children and teachers. What a sacred experience to witness them being able to see and feel their gratitude.

My donation goes far with CharityVision. I donate $25 monthly, which is the cost of 1 cataract surgery. I was lucky to shadow one of their partner doctors performing cataract surgery in Peru. It was a unique experience.

I witnessed CharityVision in action in Peru performing cataract surgery to restore vision to the blind, buying glasses for hundreds of vision impaired children, and building a new eye clinic for the local people. It's a wonderful, worthy organization. I have encouraged my friends to donate as well.

I LOVE the mission of Charity Vision in giving sight to the visually impaired. We support many charities and particularly love this one as its reach is so broad and its impact so powerful and personal.

I have worked with several vision care charities over the several years. None run as effective and self sustaining organization as does Charity Vision. I am most familiar with Mabuhay Desert Foundation in the Philippines which operates under the Charity Vision umbrella. Their impact and compassion are like nothing I have seen.

This is the most efficient and productive charity on the world! I am so impressed by everything the organization does to change lives. They can completely change a life for such a small amount of money.

I have seen first hand the amazing work of this non-profit. My mother and I know someone who works with the charity and we were asked if we wanted to deliver lasers for eye surgery to Haiti because they didn't trust the mail system over there. When we got to Haiti and delivered the lasers we were able to go to the different eye doctors offices that the lasers would be delivered to. It was an amazing and humbling experience. To see the poverty of Haiti, and then to see these wonderful doctors who were willing to partner with charity vision to provide life changing eye care for the poorest of the poor. We met one patient who was once blind but by a simple laser surgery could now see. I love Charity Vision because I know when I donate to this cause that money is going directly to people in need and not some overpaid management team. Your donation of $25 can change someone's life forever. How many charities can say that?

I am so impressed with the way this charity finds ways to help those in need while helping build programs to sustain the local economy in countries. It cost so little to help someone see again, and so its a "no-brainer" that my money will got to help many people around the world.

I’ve been able to see first hand the amazing work CharityVision does for someone who is completely blind and left without any recourses to restore their sight but with the help of CharityVision, they can see again. I love how they use the local doctors and hospitals where these patients live to be that connection for follow ups and care. I think doctors want to help their poor patience in need, and with this support they can do it.

I love everything about this charity! From the fact that they have such low overhead cost (~5%!!) so all of the donations can go to the charity work, to the strategy of supporting local doctors and providers rather than shipping in helpers for a month and hurting the local economy and doctors. I've attended screenings in Peru, El Salvador and Tanzania and witnessed children and adults come in being diagnosed with blinding cataracts or severe vision distortion and then either get glasses on the spot or have them be signed up for cataract surgery within weeks. These people often have little means of transportation or ability to travel far and many live in remote areas of their country, so Charity Vision's strategy of helping local doctors set up clinics in areas without nearby medical support is life changing for these patients. And the newly established clinics are self-sustaining as the doctors charge for patients who can afford it (which provides them their needed income) while offering discounted to free services for those who can't affort it. So genius.

The fastest way to improve a persons life is to improve their eye sight.

I am a big believer in Charity Vision as I have seen first hand the impact they have had on elementary children in our community as well as children all around the world.

I've had the experience of going into an operating suite and watched as they have given an elderly person their eye sight back by removing cataracts

I've watch local surgeons that are supported by charity vision help the poorest of the poor receive medical attention for all kinds of health issues

They are a wonderful group that are making a big difference in peoples lives

Sincerely

Charity Vision is a trailblazer in the world of philanthropy. Their sustainable, transparent, and incredibly efficient approach sets them apart as the gold standard. Their unique business model not only empowers individuals but also uplifts entire communities. When I donate to Charity Vision, I'm confident that my dollar is going the furthest and making the largest impact. In other words, my philanthropic ROI is greatest when donating to Charity Vision. They are a shining example of what's possible, and if more nonprofits followed their lead, the world would be a far better place.

I love volunteering for CharityVision. I helped at their Provo Beach event (popping lenses and sorting glasses). It was fun and I'm glad it's helping local students.

I was recently in the Philippines at went to CharityVision's Mabuhay House and was blown away at the work they're doing there. Not only did they care for many patients needing cataract surgery and glasses, but their added work of helping children with club feet to walk again, and children with cleft faces and palates to have the surgery needed to heal the cleft. AMAZINGLY dedicated and loving staff. To think they've been helping people for more than 32 years. AND...I learned something great, 100% of donations go directly to helping these patients. None of any donation goes to fundraising or overhead.

CharityVision is one of the most efficient charities in the world. CharityVision's philosophy of empowering local doctors to help their own poor creates sustainability and ownership in international eye care that is exceptional and unique.

Having been committed to humanitarian work and causes for more than 4 decades, I am very much aware of the many organizations working to help those in need of an helping hand throughout the world. I have reviewed more than 145 different humanitarian organizations to see which provide the biggest bang for the donor's buck.

I have found Desert International Foundation to be 100% on the up and up, delivering the promises they make and giving the donor a sense that their money is being used wisely and effectively. Their working model is one of the best I've seen. I only wish that more humanitarian groups could/would adapt this kind of a working model.

I have lived in some of the countries that Deseret International works in and have seen first hand the enormous need there is in these countries. What they are doing to address these needs is nothing short of remarkable. I give my 110% endorsement to this organization. My family has a number or humanitarian organizations we give to and Deseret Foundation is #1 on our list of organizations. If you want to donate and know your money is being used wisely, safely, and effectively, than this is the place to put it.

I love the fact that 100% of my donation goes directly to help disadvantaged people with medical problems around the world. I really like Deseret's philosophy that they get local doctors who know how to deal with problems the US doctors rarely see, and give them the supplies and facilities to be able to help their own people. This essentially leverages my donation 100 times what other charities can provide.

I've been fortunate enough to see the inner workings of CharityVision. The organization is based on the idea that people given the ability will help those in their own communities. CharityVision is efficient, well motivated and directed by caring and concerned people who know how to create sustainable solutions to the blindness epidemic. I'm amazed at how many lives they impact through their charitable work and the network of people all over the world who are dedicated to restoring vision for people in need.

What a fantastic organization! I highly recommend them as a trustworthy and viable service. Please support them both financially and by spreading the word about their noble cause.
