Charity Church

Please dont fall for this church annual christmas event. Each year they take the time to put a whole bunch of bikes in the street a nd setup tables with shoes clothes and dollar general quality toys on them. They then make it seem as if you stand in line you can get one of the bikes, clothes or shoes for your kids. The problem is that its extremely cold that time of year, it is sometimes wet, you cant go in church to keep warm and they have awful portable toilets outside. You will stand in line as bout 5 or 6 or more hours without food drink. All the while they have these security people watching and playing along as if you really have as ch a nc we of receiving something. The pastor of the churchwill say a sermon and constantly remind you how these people wentin th o their pockets and bought gifts thems we lves and are volunteering their time. Then after8 hours of constant standing when you finally reach t as ble you are made to fill out cards asking for person as l info. Some might even mess up and ask you if you will let your kids attend a school there. Surprise now you have been told what the real reason they entice you with this elaborate display. They want you to e nroll your kids in as n experim e ntal school. Never mind that the teachers arent qualified and the people running seem extremely shady. If you get to table and they dont have exact shoe size or coat size you better just walk away cause you wont get anything. The only thing my kids received was a dollar store toy that looked like it cost 99cents. The problem i have is they dont tell you this up front to save yourself wasted time. I tried to complain as nd pastor walked away, had his son try to handle complaints whi c h was not well. This really gave me a bad impression of church and the intent behind their giving. The people we ere rude as w ell. I as m so tired od going to places like this and being made to feel as if you should praise t by ese peopl e for t heir goodwill. These people are only trying to benefit themselves, t heir location in dal know as is full of scandal
