The people at hope statiin have recently worked very hard to help someone I personally know. They do not house people onsite but have a program that helps people get housing. But they are working toward more from what I understand. Feel free to visit the facebook page or better yet, the establishment itself.

Review from Guidestar

This organization is a complete fraud and needs to be shut down. Incomplete Guidestar
profile. Compare the description with Guidestar and the Palestine Chamber of Commerce
page. On Guidestar it states that it is a temporary shelter for the homeless. Here is the link
On the Palestine Chamber of Commerce page it says that it provides community assistance with a thrift store. here is that link.
The latest IRS statement that i could find was dated 2013.
Someone (I am not going to reveal the name publicly, but I will for law enforcement) had written a personal account of this place and they confirm that this
place is not good. I checked on the place last spring and they do not shelter the homeless. They do have a thrift store though. Imagine that, people donate things and they sell it.
Is this a business or a charity/ ministry? I could go on, but I HOPE you get the idea. Keep your money away from these people. NO STARS
