We had the awesome privilege of working with Val when she started with Caps of love collecting caps from bottles and having them recycled with money used to buy mobility equipment for the young people in need. I couldn't believe the number of people I contacted and helped me collect and sort the caps and get them to the buyer who then paid Valerie Denise Mathieu. It was the most heartwarming and biggest surprise to me how many people came to my house to help sort and collect. Our garage was full so our neighbor offered her garage. A trucking firm I knew transported them to Florida or Tennessee where they were recycled and proceeds forwarded to Val. In the process her group helped a young person in our area with a unit that helped his dad transport him as he carried his 14 year old son with him everywhere. Always been very aware of helping those with disabilities but this project really touched my heart. The market unfortunately dried up for reycling caps so Now she has progressed to Chariots of Love and grown far beyond expectations. She has helped hundreds of young people with disabilities by fund raising and donations and fitting them with what they need and no cost to the family. I will consider supporting her in any way I can. God bless you Valerie Denise Mathieu! for helping those with disabilities and less fortunate.
