Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services
Mission: Chapel house is a homeless shelter for men, serving auburn and cayuga county, and currently housed at 36 franklin street, which has administrative offices and sleeping quarters for clients. This allows us to serve three meals to clients seven days a week. We are always open, keeping our clients safe and warm. Shower and laundry facilities are available, giving the clients the opportunity to keep themselves and their belongings in a good clean healthy environment. Case managers are available to work with the clients three days a week. There is also a transitional apartment program located at 290 and 292 grant avenue. This program assists individuals moving from homelessness to permanent housing.
