Mission: Our mission is to rescue women and their children who are experiencing a domestic abuse relationship. We offer women safe housing @ the Hiding Place, a non- public location to ensure safety of all women residents. In an effort to develop a positive plan with our residents we also offer on and off-site trauma crisis counseling, on and off-site resourcing for aid, advocacy and trauma care.
Results: Channel Missions is a new non-profit that has been welcomed in Pickens, County, SC. We are the only center for domestic abuse women in a county that sees more that 1,000 domestic abusive incidents per year. 1 in 4 women will experience abuse in the lifetime.
