Mission: Our mission is to make the visual and performing arts available to the entire chandler population; to become a creative force and an educational resource for the community; and to harness the economic vitality of the arts.
Programs: The chandler cultural foundation (foundation) celebrated its 27th season. The foundation presented national touring attractions, including art garfunkel, clay aiken, colin & brad, drumline live, roots & boots, rhythm of the dance, recycled percussion, war and kansas to name a few. The foundation's ticketed performances served over 21,000 people. The foundation facilitated over 110 rental activities for local, regional and national arts organizations. More than 19,000 people attended free exhibits, concerts and symphony performances throughout the year. The foundation donated more than 3,500 performance tickets to the arts pass program and charity fundraiser events. The center for the arts 'connecting kidz' program served over 5,400 young people with free and low cost performing and visual arts experiences. Volunteers, friends, board members, committee members and skilled volunteers contributed more than 13,500 hours of service at the center for the arts and vision gallery. The vision gallery and gallery at chandler center for the arts hosted thirteen exhibits that were free to the public. The vision gallery was recognized as one of the ten best art galleries in metro phoenix in multiple media outlets. The foundation hosted "eat your art out chandler", a community-wide even that brought together community residents, fifteen chandler restaurants, and twenty five valley media outlets. The restaurants and community residents raised over $15,000.
