Mission: Established in 1993, the Lubavitch Chai Center of Dix Hills is dedicated to increasing the awareness, knowledge and observance of Judaism in Dix Hills and surrounding communities. Its purpose is to reach out to all Jews, regardless of age, affiliation or level of observance, and bring them closer to Judaism. The Chai Center serves individuals and families looking for an anchor and non-judgmental, accepting, personalized Jewish experience. The Chai Center is a home away from home for all Jews who walk through its doors. We have successfully stimulated activity in areas often overlooked by other organizations. The Chai Center offers Jewish education, but more importantly, it offers the opportunity to experience first hand the vitality and relevance of Torah true Judaism as it is lived today. Participants experience the joy and celebration, the intimacy and compassion, the wisdom and knowledge that is inherent in Jewish life and learning. The Chai Center is a full service organization responding to both the material and spiritual needs of the Dix Hills community. Through classes, counseling, celebrations, holiday events and youth programs, The Chai Center will use whatever means necessary to bring the message of Torah true Judaism to the children, teens, adults and elderly of the community.
