Mission: To assist the elderly in obtaining the economic and social support they need so that they can function independently and live with dignity.
Programs: Nutrition services program: this program serves freshly prepared ethnic meals six days a week and provides nutrition education. The program has a provision of 65,752 hot meals per annum to 1,467 ambulatory, homebound and disabled individuals. Two on-site locations are available: centro latino de san francisco at 1656 15th street and mission neighborhood center at 362 capp street in san francisco, california.
paratransit: this program included city-wide transportation and escort services for frail and physically challenged individuals mainly for grocery shopping, recreational outing and medical needs such as doctor's appointments. Transported 196 elderly passengers for a total of 16,078 trips.
community services programs: this program provides a social worker and socialization, educational and cultural activities for over 676 clients per annum.
