through the diligent work of our grant writing team, in close collaboration with our centerstone clinical operations, we received $16 million in federal grants for service development or expansion in our primary footprint. In addition to philanthropic dollars, grant funding frequently allows us to offer low or no-cost services to individuals in need.
centerstone america exists primarily to support the work of our clinical organizations. To that end, in 2015-16, we increased our technology network capacity to support our electronic health record and telemedicine capabilities by over 25 percent, while driving costs downward.
for the 5th consecutive year, we lowered core administrative cost at centerstone america as a percentage of revenue. By keeping overhead low, we are able to direct more dollars into service development, delivery and expansion to fulfill our mission of delivering care that changes people's lives.
