Workforce Center located at 226 East 43rd Street is a great place to go if you are seeking employment or want to further your education. I attended this center earlier this year for job readiness classes. I was taught financial literacy, customer service skills and digital literacy. This agency also assisted me with an resume and we did mock interviews. Workforce is a place that prepares you for when you go out looking for employment you would know what to do and what to say. They also assist people that's with their program with job placement. I recently had a unfortunate incident where all my belongings were discarded. I'm in a group with the workforce center, that's called Employment opportunities. I posted that I needed help getting interview clothes and that I have no funds. A few people in the group bought and gave me clothes. I'm very thankful for this center and the people who have helped me. After finishing my job readiness classes I'm still receiving help and I have an interview for a job Friday. So if your looking for employment or want to further your education, I would strongly recommend you contact the Workforce Center and ask them how they can assist you.

I had been (technically) unemployed for some time having opted to be a stay-at-home-mom. This organization assisted me to reenter the work force at a level commensurate with my education & experience. They were very professional but also caring.
