I have had the opportunity of being on the Board for this wonderful non-profit for almost 20 years. I have always been amazed at the commitment of the board and the staff in making this property a special place for people of all ages, religions and cultural backgrounds to come together and spend quality time. My involvement has been an ongoing opportunity for service, nourishment and a sense of true community.
I had the pleasure to stay at Dancing Deer Farm, operated by this non-profit, for a yoga retreat. It was one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating retreats I have ever been on. The grounds were so special, the deer wonderful to watch, the walks on the property magical, and the staff so sweet and helpful. I wish I could live here - lol.

I am always blown away by the generosity of Peter and his volunteers. The perfect setting for an event, workshop or retreat, situated in a peaceful blend of oak forests and open meadows.
What an oasis for body, mind, spirit integration! The Hacienda and Country House are enchanting, clean and well appointed allowing folks to drop in deeply. The surrounding oaks with walking paths complete with an organic garden beckon one outdoors for adventures and fun. There is even a lovely pool with a view to stay afloat for.
Yet it is the work of reconnection and deep nature connection that the Center for Reuniting Families holds space for that truly deserves notice. CRF/Dancing Deer Farms brings to our community so much generosity and community growing spaces and support. These folks are true jewels in doing good work in the world and helping others bring their gifts of service forward.
The Center For Reuniting Families is a wonderful non-profit organization serving the Central Coast. The facility provides non-profits, organizations, and families seeking a retreat in a peaceful environment. Dancing Deer Farm offers hospitality, comfortable housing, a spectacular setting and ample open space for group events and personal growth.
As a professional facilitator, for the last 20+ years I have led leadership and community events of all kinds, all across the country and internationally. I've utilized hundreds of hotels, retreat centers and various meeting facilities. The Center for ReUniting Families operation of Dancing Deer Farm & Retreat Center ranks right up there with the very best. I've led or been part of at least a dozen events since they have been opened. Their heart centered caring service and attentiveness to everyone's needs has been consistent. It is in a a remarkably peaceful and beautiful natural setting that makes me feel I am in the mountain forests away from it all, yet I'm actually across the street from trendy wineries just 3 miles off the main California freeway. And with the beach just a 25 minute beautiful drive among rolling hills, this place has it all for business, spiritual, health or family groups.
CRF/Dancing Deer Farm has been the home and center of many children's nature connection experience and learning process. Through a collaboration with Outside Now, the nature connection and alternative education organization I work with, we have been able to foster a deep connection between the future generations and the beautiful land that CRF tends and manages with care and dedication. I am incredibly grateful to the generosity and flexibility of the people who have woven the threads of community together at Dancing Deer Farm--amongst the oak woodlands and open fields that inspire curiosity, awe, and healing in people young, growing, and elder.
Rooted in the pure heart vision and compassion of the founders, and the culmination over decades of its life enriching impact for thousands, this nonprofit now combines a most lovely and beautiful physical environment that reflects the love, quality and magic that everyone experiences at Dancing Deer. I have been deeply nourished and inspired on many levels by my involvement with this leading-edge gem of a retreat center and community modeling the kind of change that sustains us together more joyously.
Our organization booked the facilities at Dancing Deer Farm for a gathering. The service was impeccable and the facilities are A-1, beautiful country-side and well appointed housing. From the first, the coordinator was highly helpful, enthusiastic and made our time there meaningful. I would highly recommend the Center for Reuniting Families both for its mission and for its achievements.
